# How to Use Hotspots to Highlight Key Product Features

Ever written a clear product description and still have people ask questions about the product specifics already included in the description? That’s because most customers don’t read product descriptions or captions.

However, imagine being able to label your product and with just a single click on the product, customers can easily see the key details about the product, such as its texture, colour available, size, etc.

With Hotspots, you can place small, clickable indicators on specific parts of the product, and when customers click a hotspot, a short explanation appears describing the features of the product - removing guess work and improving confidence in buying.

In this article, we’ll examine how to highlight key product features using SwiftXR Hotspot feature. Let’s get into it.

### How to Use Hotspots to Highlight Key Product Features

Here, we would examine the step-by-step process of using hotspots on your product in SwiftXR.

#### Step 1: Start a New Project

Open the SwiftXR editor > select components > click on 3D, and choose any of the features, be it augmented reality, virtual reality, etc. Next, choose any of the means available to get your 3D models either by:

* Upload an image
* Explore our model library
* Convert a 2D image to 3D
* Order a custom model.

### The hidden cost of missed details

When customers do not have full context of what your product looks like or feels like in terms of texture, size, etc. hesitation sets in and that can mean loss of sale for you.

However, with interactive hotspots, you can easily label products, ensuring customers get the information they need to make swift buying decisions.
